Who We Are
The Oakville Cronies Golf group was established in 1977 by Jimmy Johnston, Bill Hughes, Terry Regan and George Boulash so that they and other like minded golf enthusiasts could meet on a regular basis in a fun and informal environment.
The group continues to meet weekly at various courses in the Halton and Hamilton Regions at pre-arranged times. Foursomes are organized in advance under the philosophy that everyone will play with everyone else over the course of a season. Scores are recorded and handicap factors are computed from the results.
